Johann "Jogl" Brunner (born March 19, 1958 in Tamsweg ) is an Austrian singer, musician, composer and music producer.

Life

Together with his brother Charly Brunner (actually Karl Brunner) he founded the dance band Happy in 1977 in their Styrian hometown Murau . This resulted in the duo Brunner & Brunner , active from 1992 to 2010 , a successful German-language hit act with several million albums sold, 10 victories in the ZDF hit parade , 10 golden tuning forks , 1 Amadeus music prize and 1 Echo music prize . The two brothers ended their careers together in December 2010.

In March 2015 Jogl Brunner released his first solo album Lebenslust ( Universal Music Group / Electrola ) after a break of more than 4 years in the music industry with twelve self-written, composed and produced titles as well as two new Brunner & Brunner interpretations. Jogl Brunner presented the first single You fell like a star out of the sky on March 14, 2015 in the TV show “The Best in Spring” by Florian Silbereisen .

Jogl Brunner has been releasing his music under his own label JB Music since September 2016, including his second solo album Lebensbilder in 2018 .
