Johan Wilhelm Runeberg
Johan Wilhelm Runeberg (born February 8, 1843 in Borgå , Finland, † January 3, 1918 in Helsinki ) was a Finnish medic.
His father was Johan Ludvig Runeberg .
After receiving his Dr. med. et chir. acquired, he undertook long trips abroad. In 1877 he became, as the successor to Knut Felix von Willebrand , professor at the University Clinic at the University of Helsinki , where he retired in 1907.
Runeberg has been a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences since 1894, of the Royal Society of Sciences in Uppsala since 1898 and of the Kungliga Vetenskaps- och Vitterhetssamhället i Göteborg since 1899 .
