Johann Adam Christoph Kölle (born October 18, 1745 in Hirschlanden ; † 1809 in Tübingen ) was court assessor , landscape deputy and member of the select committee of the landscape, as well as mayor of Tübingen and from 1806 royal high tribunal councilor.

Life

Kölle was a son of the pastor Johann Christoph Kölle in Hirschlanden and his wife Magdalena Margarete geb. Bardili. He studied law at the University of Tübingen , where he received his licentiate in 1767 and then worked as a lawyer.

From 1770 Kölle was court judge (until 1804) and member of the select committee of the landscape (until 1799). From 1772 he was also a court relative and mayor of Tübingen. From 1797 to 1804 he was a member of the countryside. From 1804 to 1806 he was assessor on the landscape bench of the electoral court and court of appeal in Stuttgart . In 1806 he became the Royal High Tribunal Councilor, so that he had to resign from his offices as mayor and court relative in Tübingen.

He married Elisabeth Christiane Kölle geb. Kölle (1763–1830), a granddaughter of the pastor of Welzheim , Samuel Kölle. Since, as a childless widow, she set up a housing and money foundation, she became better known posthumously than her husband:
