Johann Beck (politician, 1885)
Johann Beck (born February 6, 1885 in Triesenberg ; † July 23, 1961 there ) was a Liechtenstein politician ( FBP ).
biography
Johann Beck was the son of the farmer Valentin Beck and his wife Katharina (née Gassner). He was a citizen of Triesenberg and worked as a farmer and cattle dealer. From 1922 to 1927 he was a judge at the Supreme Court . After he had been from 1924 to 1930 a member of the council of Triesenberg, he served from 1933 to 1951 as their community leaders . From 1936 to 1939 and again from 1945 to 1949 Beck was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein . He was also a deputy member of parliament from 1939 to 1945.
In 1910 he married Viktoria Beck. The marriage resulted in 10 children. In 1937 Prince Franz I awarded him the Silver Merit Sign .
