Johann Bernhard Christoph Eichmann (born October 1, 1748 in Weimar ; † January 16, 1817 in Altenburg ) was a German lawyer .

Life

Johann Bernhard Christoph Eichmann was born on October 1, 1748 in Weimar and attended a grammar school there . From 1767 he studied law at the University of Jena and received his doctorate in law in 1772 . He then worked as a court lawyer . Four years later, Eichmann became an associate professor of law. In 1782 he became aldermen and at the same time syndic . Altenburg Johann Bernhard Eichmann was in 1786 as a Government appointed. There he became consistorial councilor in 1797 and later also vice-president of the council. He stayed in Altenburg until his death on January 16, 1817. He left behind a son, Karl Eichmann .
