Johann Carl Gottlieb Schulze

Johann Carl Gottlieb Schulze (born April 5, 1749 in Berlin ; † June 9, 1790 ibid.) Was a German mathematician , astronomer , university professor and Prussian senior building officer .

On October 16, 1777, Johann Carl Gottlieb Schulze became a full member of the Academy of Sciences as professor of mathematics at the Field Artillery Corps Berlin (later the Royal Artillery Academy) . In 1783 he was employed as an extraordinary senior building officer in the building department and in 1784 became senior building officer . In 1786 he was a member of the Oder and Warthe Regulation Commission convened by Friedrich Wilhelm II, which dealt with the problems of relocating the mouth of the Warta. His successor in the senior building department was Philipp Bernhard Berson.
