Johann Christian Kruse
Johann Christian Kruse (born June 30, 1818 in Wismar , † December 24, 1898 in Kiel ) was a German politician.
Life
Christian Kruse completed a commercial apprenticeship in the Kiel trading house Klotz & Sohn, of which he became a co-owner. He was a member of the board of the Altona-Kieler Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft .
In July 1854 he joined the Kiel citizens' council, in which he held the office of citizen spokesman from 1862 to 1893 . Because of his services, he was awarded honorary citizenship of the city of Kiel on December 1, 1893, the day he left the council . Christian-Kruse-Straße in Kiel's Stinkviertel bears his name.
