Johann Christian von Hofenfels Medal
The Johann Christian von Hofenfels Medal has been awarded by the Association of Palatinate Friends since 1965 . Since then, the Hofenfels Medal has been awarded to people who have made a special contribution to maintaining historical relationships between Bavaria and the Palatinate . The medal is named after the minister , statesman and diplomat of the Duchy of Palatinate-Zweibrücken, Johann Christian von Hofenfels .
