Johann Daniel Widt

Johann Daniel Widt (* in the 17th century in Strasbourg ; † 1693 in Aschaffenburg) was a German physician and personal physician to the Elector of Bavaria .

Life

Johann Daniel Widt studied medicine with Melchior Sebisch (1578–1671) in Strasbourg .

Widt became senior physician at the imperial chamber in Speyer and later Ferdinand Maria von Bayern's personal physician .

On July 14, 1681 he was elected member ( matriculation no. 95 ) of the Leopoldina with the academic surname Asclepiades .
