Johann Evangelist von Reindel
Johann Evangelist Ritter von Reindel also Johann Evangelist Ritter von Reindl (* December 23, 1772 , † April 18, 1850 in Passau ) was a Bavarian lawyer and politician.
Career
Reindel was a landowner in Aholfing and director of the Royal Bavarian Court of Appeal in Straubing . From 1825 to 1828 and again in 1837 he was a member of class V of the Chamber of Deputies and was a member of the Presidium of the Chamber from March 1828.
The chronicler Johann Georg von Aretin described him as “a mean creeping soul without strength and character”. Together with Johann Martin Karl Vetterlein and Franz Joseph Häcker , he formed the “ministerial shamrock”.
Because of his commitment to the maintenance of the humanistic grammar school, he was made an honorary citizen of Straubing on August 5, 1825 .
