Johann Franz Peickhardt
Johann Franz von Peickhardt (* around 1647 in Bavaria ; † July 13, 1706 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician . From 1692 to 1695 and from 1700 to 1703 he was mayor of Vienna .
Johann Franz von Peickhardt was of noble origin. On January 15, 1700, he was awarded the knighthood . On November 23, 1681, he married the widow Judith Ollinger. Peickhardt was captain of a civil company during the second Turkish siege of Vienna . He was a member of the Inner Council and initially a city judge in Vienna. In the years 1692 to 1695, Johann Franz von Peickhardt finally became mayor of Vienna before handing over the office to Jakob Daniel Tepser . After his tenure he was again mayor of the city and ruled a second time in the years 1700 to 1703. His successor was again Jakob Daniel Tepser. Johann Franz von Peickhardt died on July 13, 1706 in his house on the Graben .
