Jakob Daniel Tepser
Jakob Daniel Tepser (born January 27, 1653 in Vienna ; † September 20, 1711 there ) was mayor of Vienna from 1696 to 1699 and 1704 to 1707 .
Jakob Daniel Tepser was a middle-class canvas dealer. On May 6, 1680, he married the widow Juliane Fontenoi. On July 19, 1707 he was awarded the title of Edler von Tepsern, and on November 24, 1707 the title of knight. Jakob Daniel Tepser died on September 20, 1711 in his house at Am Hof 9.
Jakob Daniel Tepser's wine cellar, located next to the Belvedere Palace , which was not yet built at the time, is located at the bottom of the Salesian monastery, which was also not yet built, and is now home to the Salm Bräu brewery and restaurant.
