Johann Lorenz Trunck von Guttenberg (born July 30, 1661 in Vienna ; † September 7, 1742 ibid) was an Austrian local politician and mayor of Vienna (1713 to 1716).

Johann Lorenz Trunck von Guttenberg was born on July 20, 1661 as the son of Lorenz Trunck, from 1660 to 1700 court master of the Freising court , and his wife, Anna Rosina Kaiser, in Vienna. Johann Lorenz Trunck von Guttenberg also appeared as court master of the Freisinger Hof. In 1685 he married Maria Magdalena Pläckner († 1728). In 1688 and 1689 he was an internal councilor, then in 1690 an assessor at the Vienna City Court and from 1691 to 1708 again internal councilor. In 1707 and 1708 he also appeared as chief chamberlain. After serving as city judge from 1709 to 1712, he took over the office of mayor of the city of Vienna in 1713, replacing the previous mayor, Johann Franz von Wenighoffer . After his term of office ended in 1716, he was again active as an internal council until his death from 1717 to 1742, from 1721 as a senior.

From his mother he inherited a house at Sonnenfelsgasse 9, which he sold in 1684, and a house at Singerstrasse 23, which he sold in 1692. In 1697 he also acquired the Stadt 609 house, which once occupied part of the property at today's address at 11 Petersplatz. He sold this property in 1701 and in 1707 acquired the house Stadt 457, which at that time was located on part of today's property at Sterngasse 4. He bequeathed the latter to his son.

The last plague epidemic in Vienna occurred in 1713 during the term of office of Johann Lorenz Trunck von Guttenberg .
