Johann Friedrich Bahr
Johann Friedrich Bahr (born July 17, 1815 in Wisby , † May 8, 1875 in Uppsala ) was a Swedish chemist.
Life
After becoming a Dr. phil. After receiving his doctorate , he became a chemistry teacher at the Technological Institute in Stockholm and an adjunct at Uppsala University . He was a member of the Academy of Sciences in Stockholm .
In 1863/1864 he brought rare earth samples from Sweden to be examined in Robert Wilhelm Bunsen's laboratory in Heidelberg , with which Carl Auer von Welsbach carried out further investigations from 1880 onwards.
