Johann Friedrich Mack (born April 6, 1819 in Frankfurt am Main ; † March 17, 1887 ibid) was an entrepreneur and politician of the Free City of Frankfurt .

Johann Friedrich Mack was licensed as a master locksmith in Frankfurt since 1843. He was the brother of the foundry owner Georg Sigismund Mack. On May 28, 1857, he asked the Senate of the Free City of Frankfurt for a license to operate an iron foundry in Frankfurt-Nordend. This company, with its headquarters at Eckenheimer Landstrasse 16, was taken over by Johann Friedrich Mack on October 20, 1865 and then operated as the Johann Friedrich Mack iron foundry. The iron foundry was successful and in 1900 employed around 100 people. Weather houses were a specialty of the company .

From 1854 to 1862 he was a member of the Senate of the Free City of Frankfurt as a councilor . He was a member of the Legislative Body from 1852 to 1853. He was a freemason .
