Csurgó (Hungarian Csurgói járás ) is a district in the west of the southwestern Somogy County . It is bordered by Marcali and Nagyatád counties in the east , Barcs county in the south and Nagykanizsa county ( Zala county ) in the north . In the southwest, 5 municipalities border on the neighboring state of Croatia .

history

During the Hungarian administrative reform in early 2013, the district emerged unchanged with all 18 municipalities from the small area of the same name (Hungarian Csurgói kistérség ).
