Johann Friedrich Ramm

Johann Friedrich Ramm (born August 17, 1822 in Horkheim , † December 25, 1888 in Stuttgart ) was a Württemberg farmer and politician.

Life

Friedrich Ramm attended elementary school in Horkheim until 1836. He then passed the elementary school teacher exam and taught in Kirchberg and Ludwigsburg. Because of poor health and because of his interest in agriculture, he left the school service. From 1845 to 1847 he attended the Hohenheim Agricultural Academy . In 1847 he became the administrator of the Bavarian estate Walkershofen owned by the Lords of Würzburg. From 1849 to 1856 he was the administrator of the Nippenburg estate and the walls owned by the Barons vom Holtz. After the death of Baron vom Holtz in 1857, he and Baron Karl von Varnbuler became tenants of the estates in Nippenburg and Mauern, and at the same time administered the estates of the Minister von Varnbuler. In 1874, Ramm leased the Kleinhohenheim domain.

From 1880 to 1888, Ramm was a member of the Second Chamber of the Württemberg Land estates for the Oberamt Leonberg . From 1868 to 1870 he was also a member of the customs parliament as a member of the constituency of Württemberg 12 ( Cannstatt , Ludwigsburg , Leonberg , Waiblingen ) .
