Johann Georg Heyse
Johann Georg Heyse (* 1778 ; † March 10, 1833 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German bookseller and publisher .
biography
Heyse founded a bookstore with an attached printing shop in Bremen in 1800 and published numerous local Bremen scripts, a great biblical-Asian literary history, the continuations of Christian Gottlieb Jöcher's lexicon of scholars by Heinrich Wilhelm Rotermund , the Brenner reading books for school lessons, the state calendar of freyen Hanseatic City of Bremen and the Bremer-Zeitung as well as other scientific, theological and medical writings.
After his death, his son Ludwig Wilhelm Heyse took over the business.
