Johann Gotthelf Duke

Johann Gotthelf Herzog (born September 26, 1738 in Kamenz ; † June 28, 1787 there ) was a German doctor.

Life

Herzog studied at the University of Leipzig and specialized in medical sciences. In order to do his doctorate , he moved to the University of Wittenberg on July 23, 1772 , where, under Georg Rudolf Böhmer , he obtained his medical doctorate on July 28 with the dissertation Natura praestantior arte in re medica et oeconomia (Wittenberg 1772) . He worked as a doctor in his hometown and was an author mainly in the field of obstetrics .
