Johann Heinrich Traugott Müller

Johann Heinrich Traugott Müller (born August 6, 1797 in Friedersdorf near Sorau in Niederlausitz , † April 28, 1862 in Wiesbaden ) was a German mathematician.

Life

From 1817 he studied theology for five years in Leipzig and then mathematics and natural sciences.

In July 1822 he was employed as a senior teacher for mathematics and physics at the Domgymnasium Naumburg . In 1835 he took over teaching science at the trade school. In July 1836 he was appointed head of the newly founded Herzogliche Realgymnasium in Gotha and at the end of 1844 in the same position in Wiesbaden .
