Johann I (Nuremberg)
Johann I of Nuremberg , (* around 1279; † 1300 ) came from the Zollern family and was burgrave of Nuremberg from 1297 to 1300 .
Life
Johann I of Nuremberg was the son of Burgrave Friedrich III. von Nürnberg and came from the marriage with his second wife Helene von Sachsen († 1309). He was married to Agnes von Hessen († 1335) since 1297 . Until his death he exercised the office of burgrave together with his younger brother Friedrich IV of Nuremberg . When he died childless in 1300, he became the sole successor in the burgrave office.
