Johann Jacob Reichsgraf von Königsegg-Rothenfels (* August 14, 1590 ; † September 13, 1664 ) was canon in Cologne .

Johann Jacob von Königsegg-Rothenfels comes from the old Swabian noble family Königsegg . As early as 1604 canon in Augsburg, he became canon of Cologne in 1605, at the age of 15. Since 1606 also canon in Salzburg, he studied from 1608 to 1610 at the University of Perugia . From 1614 to 1627 also canon at St. Gereon (Cologne) , the Cologne cathedral chapter elected him after- dean in 1635 , whereupon he resigned in 1663.
