Johann Joseph Thalherr
Johann Joseph Thalherr or Talherr (* around 1730 in Fulnek , Moravia ; † October 16, 1807 in Ofen , Hungary ; also Jan Josef Talherr or József Talherr ) was an Austro- Hungarian architect .
Johann Thalherr studied in Vienna and then worked in the court building department under the direction of Isidore Canevale . In 1782 he moved to Budapest and worked as a Hungarian chamber architect. In 1788 he became head of the Hungarian building department. His work was influenced by Andrea Palladio . His buildings can be found in Budapest , Bratislava , Győr and other Hungarian cities.
