Syarhey Dashkevich ( Belarusian Сяргей Дашкевіч , Russian Сергей Владимирович Дашкевич / Sergei Vladimirovich Dashkevich * 10. January 1982 in Vitebsk ) is a former Belarusian biathlete .

Syarhej Dashkewitsch is a physical education teacher and lives in Baryssau . The Dinamo Minsk athlete is trained by Vladimir Kapschukow and Syarhej Ramanouski. He has been practicing biathlon since 2000 and has been a member of the national team of Belarus since 2006.

Daschkewitsch first took part in 2001 in Khanty-Mansiysk in a Junior World Championship. While the results in sprint, pursuit and relay were not worth mentioning, he won the individual silver medal behind his compatriot Vitaly Tschernischew . He also won bronze medals in the relay and in the pursuit race in the junior world championships the following year in Ridanna . The 2003 Junior World Championships in Kościelisko , where fifth place in the relay was his best result, was less successful . After the European Junior Championships in Kontiolahti in 2002 remained largely unsuccessful, he was able to win the relay silver in Forni Avoltri in 2003 . Also in the summer of the year he took up the position, now for the world championship in summer biathlon . In all three individual races Daschkewitsch placed between ranks 16 and 19. With the relay, the Belarusian reached fifth place.

After several appearances in the 2002/03 European Biathlon Cup and a first appearance in the mixed relay in the Biathlon World Cup in the same season in which Daschkewitsch finished fourth with Lyudmila Arlouskaja , Sjarhej Novikau and Lyudmila Ananka , Daschkewitsch has started the beginning of the 2003/04 season in the European Biathlon Cup . In his first race, a sprint in Geilo , he finished 25th. The best result he achieved in 2007 was eleventh in an individual in Obertilliach . Towards the end of the 2005/06 season Daschkewitsch was used for the first time in a single race in the World Cup. In Pokljuka he was 80 in his first sprint . The Belarusian had his best season in 2006/07 . In Hochfilzen he was Sprint 60th, in Oberhof Staffel 12. He achieved the best result ever at the Biathlon World Championships 2005 in Antholz . In the individual, his only race, he finished 55th.

At the Summer Biathlon World Championships in Haute-Maurienne in 2008 Daschkewitsch was tenth in the sprint and fifth in the pursuit and in the sprint.
