Johann Kammerhofer

Johann Kammerhofer (born October 2, 1921 in Steyr ; † June 8, 1983 there ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and a member of the National Council from 1971 to 1981 .

Kammerhofer attended vocational school after compulsory school and then worked professionally as a merchant and butcher. He was awarded the professional title of Commercial Councilor. He was active in the Chamber of Commerce from 1965 as district chairman in Steyr and was elected to the chamber council in 1967. He also acted as district group chairman of the economic association for the Steyr-Land region. Furthermore, he was chairman of the supervisory committee in the social insurance institute for the commercial economy and from 1975 to 1980 the butcher's guild. Between 1968 and 1974 he worked as a board member of the tourism commission in Steyr and from 1969 was a board member of the Sparkasse Steyr. Kammerhofer represented the ÖVP between November 4, 1971 and October 8, 1981 as a member of the National Council.
