Johann Konrad Geissel

Johann Konrad Geissel (born September 23, 1776 in Eudorf ; † May 20, 1833 ibid) was a Hessian economist and politician ( Cons ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Johann Konrad Geissel was the son of the economist Johann Geissel and his wife Anna Maria. Geissel, who was Protestant, was an economist in Eudorf and married Anna Maria née Eisenach (1784–1849).

From 1820 to 1824 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Oberhessen 5 / Romrod .
