Ernst Koch (politician)

Friedrich Ernst Koch (* 1774 (calculated); † April 25, 1844 in Alsfeld ) was a Hessian manufacturer and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Ernst Koch was the son of Johann Jacob Koch and his wife, a born Cachelm. Koch, who was of Protestant faith, was a manufacturer in Alsfeld and married Charlotte Regina, née Boy, on September 5, 1820.

From 1829 to 1834 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was first elected for the constituency of Oberhessen 5 / Romrod , then for Starkenburg 12 / Groß-Bieberau and finally in the constituency of the city of Alsfeld.
