Eduard Neidhardt

Eduard Ludwig Friedrich Neidhardt (* December 5, 1801 in Vöhl , † February 18, 1858 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian civil servant and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Eduard Neidhardt was the son of the bailiff and councilor Johann Christian Konrad Ludwig Neidhardt (1754-1836) and his wife Luisa Friederika, née Kekulé. Neidhardt, who was Protestant, married Emilie Caroline nee Elwert (1803-1865).

After completing his studies, Neidhardt became court clerk at the court in Gießen in 1826 . In 1829 he became district administrator in the district of Romrod and in 1832 in the district of Alsfeld . In 1839 he became a member and secular councilor in the Darmstadt consistory . In 1856 he received the title of secret senior consistorial councilor . In 1857 he was appointed director of the senior studies directorate.

From 1856 to 1858 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of the city of Alsfeld .
