Wilhelm Müller (politician, 1790)

Wilhelm Justus Ferdinand Carl Müller (born April 4, 1790 in Gießen ; † September 6, 1844 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian judge and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Wilhelm Müller was the son of the staff auditor and Alsfeld chief magistrate Georg Friedrich Anton Müller (1760-1811) and his wife Johanette Eleonore Wilhelmine Sophie nee Pfaff. Müller, who was of Protestant faith, married Amalie born Follenius (1797–1882) in Darmstadt on November 19, 1818.

Müller studied law at the University of Gießen from 1806 and later became a court judge at the Darmstadt court and from 1834 a judge of appeals and cassation at the Darmstadt Court of Appeals .

From 1826 to 1830 and again from 1841 to 1842 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of the city of Alsfeld and Oberhessen 6 / Homberg.
