Jost Karl Pfannstiel

Jost Karl Pfannstiel (also Carl ) (born September 14, 1816 in Hopfgarten ; † October 31, 1896 in Hainbach ) was a Hessian economist and politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Jost Karl Pfannstiel was the son of the district forester Ernst Christian Ludwig Pfannstiel (1777-1854) and his wife Marianna Catharine Wilhelmine, née Beck (1788-1848). Pfannstiel, who was Protestant, was an economist in Hainbach and married Dorothee, née Lutz (1821-1889), on August 4, 1842.

From 1872 to 1896 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Oberhessen 7 / Homberg . He was mayor in Hainbach.
