Ludwig Haberkorn (politician, 1810)

Johann Georg Ludwig Haberkorn (born February 26, 1810 in Windhausen ; † December 17, 1873 there ) was a Hessian forester, politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Ludwig Haberkorn was the son of the chief forester Johann Georg Carl Haberkorn (1781–1833) and his wife Elisabeth, née Völ (t) zing. Haberkorn, who was Protestant, married Luise nee Stahl.

Like his father, Haberkorn embarked on a forestry career. He became a forest candidate in Windhausen, and in 1839 a district forester in Grünberg. In the same year he returned to Windhausen as a district forester and later became chief forester there.

From 1866 to 1872 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Oberhessen 5 / Homberg . In the estates he represented liberal-conservative positions.
