Johannes Reuter (politician, 1768)

Johannes Reuter (born November 25, 1768 in Gontershausen ; † February 6, 1829 in Haarhausen ) was a Hessian economist and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Johannes Reuter was the son of Johann Heinrich Reuter and his wife Anna, nee Becker. Reuter, who was a Protestant, was an economist in Haarhausen and married Anna Katharina nee Cloos.

From 1820 to 1824 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Oberhessen 6 / Homberg .
