Georg Krauskopf

Reinhard Georg Krauskopf (born September 18, 1789 in Gießen ; † November 29, 1860 there ) was a Hessian lawyer, liberal politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Georg Krauskopf was the son of Constable Carl Ludwig Krauskopf and his wife Maria Katharine, née Großmann. Krauskopf was Protestant . He married Amalie, nee Lang (* 1802).

Krauskopf studied law at the University of Giessen from 1821 and was subsequently appointed to the court secretariat. In 1825 he became a lawyer and procurator at the court in Giessen .

From 1834 to 1841 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of the city of Alsfeld .
