Johann Heinrich Rossmann also Roßmann (born December 9, 1777 in Nieder-Modau ; † February 12, 1852 ibid) was a Hessian economist, politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Heinrich Rossmann was the son of the farmer and judge Johann Heinrich Rossmann and his wife Anna Margaretha geb. Schaller. Rossmann, who was Protestant , was an economist in Nieder-Modau and married Anna Katharina née Crutz (1777-1853) there in 1796.

Rossmann was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates from 1826 to 1827 and from 1829 to 1830. His election as member of the Landtag of the third Landtag was declared invalid by the responsible election commissioner of the Second Chamber of the Estates because the composition of the electoral districts in his constituency was incorrect. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 12 / Groß-Bieberau . In addition, he was mayor of Nieder-Modau.

Roßmann was a double third cousin of Johannes Boßler (1796–1834), who was born in Nieder-Modau and who in 1822 became the founder of the Boßler family of shipping entrepreneurs and pioneers from Neckarsteinach .
