Indrek Koff
Indrek Koff (born March 4, 1975 in Pärnu ) is an Estonian writer and translator.
life and work
Indrek Koff graduated from high school in his hometown Pärnu in 1993. In 1999 he graduated from the University of Tartu in French Linguistics and Literature . He also attended the Sorbonne belonging École supérieure d'interprètes et de traducteurs (ESIT) in Paris . For several years, Koff taught at universities in Tallinn and Tartu .
Koff has made a name for himself in Estonia primarily as an author and translator from French (and Portuguese) ( Claude Lévi-Strauss , Michel Foucault , Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt , Michel Houellebecq , Maurice Maeterlinck , Claude Duneton , Jean-Louis Fournier and others ).
His own literary creations are primarily intended for children. He also writes for adults. He is a member of the Estonian Writers' Union.

Private life
Indrek Koff is married to the Estonian writer and educator Eva Koff (* 1973). He has four children.
