Johann Lang (lawyer)

Johann Lang (* October 1756 ; † February 22, 1829 in Heidelberg ) was a lawyer and since 1786 in the Palatinate and from 1803 in the Baden state service, where he was the head of office, comparable to a current district administrator .

Life

Johann Lang had been the clerk of the court in Schwetzingen since May 17, 1786 and from 1792 he was a Palatinate lawyer and actuary at the Heidelberg Oberamt . After the electoral Palatinate was dissolved , he was accepted into the Baden state service and took up a position at the Waldeck staff office on September 20, 1803 as a bailiff and board member. In June 1807 he became bailiff and head of the office of Bretten . From December 31, 1809, he became the head of the Rauenberg staff office and, from May 15, 1810, he was also the head of the Wiesloch office . On January 23, 1819, Johann Lang was retired.
