Johann Nepomuk Alber

Johann Nepomuk Alber (born July 7, 1753 in Ovár ; † after 1830) was a Hungarian theologian .

Life

Johann Nepomuk Alber, born in Ovár on July 7, 1753, studied humanity and was subsequently accepted into the Piarist Order in 1779 . From then on he dealt with theology and philosophy . He was also called to teach at a grammar school in Pest , and later he went to a Piarist college in Nitra and taught the Bible and church history . Then he was sent to Kalocsa and from there back to Budapest to attend the local university to teach. Alber retired in 1830.
