Johann Peter Ernst Rohrer
Johann Peter Ernst Rohrer (* 1687 in Tissau , Bohemia ; † March 26, 1762 in Rastatt ) was a builder and architect in Rastatt.
Johann Peter Ernst Rohrer is the younger brother of Johann Michael Ludwig Rohrer , the successful court architect of Margravine Franziska Sibylla Augusta . Both brothers were born in Tissau in Bohemia as sons of the fountain master Michael Ludwig Anton Rohrer . Johann Peter Ernst followed in his brother's footsteps and built the following buildings in Rastatt and the surrounding area:
- 1738 college building
- 1739 Alexius Fountain
- 1748 Reconstruction of the old chapel in Bietigheim
- 1750 Rastatt town hall
- 1756 St. Alexander town church in Rastatt
Some of these buildings are still based on the plans of his older brother.
