Johann Philipp Gustav Wolbach

Johann Philipp Gustav Wolbach (born January 27, 1826 in Ulm ; † February 26, 1890 there ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born as the son of Christoph Leonhard Wolbach , Johann Philipp Gustav Wolbach studied law in Tübingen and Heidelberg after attending grammar school in Ulm . During his studies in 1843 he became a member of the Germania Tübingen fraternity and in 1846 was a connoisseur of the old Heidelberg fraternity Franconia . In 1853 he became a legal adviser and attorney in Ulm and from 1868 in Stuttgart . In 1854 he became chairman and member of the Ulm Citizens' Committee. In 1857 he was also a member of the local council, to which he was re-elected in 1863. In 1863 he became a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Committee, in 1864 of the State Committee of the People's Party . From 1864 to 1868 he was a member of the Württemberg state estates , first for the Oberamtsiertel Ulm , from 1870 for Riedlingen . In 1865 he was co-founder of the Ulmer Volksverein.
