Johann Plechelm von Rhede (* around 1610 ; † February 12, 1662 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Johann Plechelm von Rhede came from the Emsland family von Rhede zu Brandlecht , who held the fiefdom of Brandlecht Castle from the 2nd half of the 15th century until 1715 . Johann Plechelm was the son of Johann Albrecht von Rhede zu Brandlecht and Saesfeld and his wife Agnes Sybille von Asbeck zu Gaer. His brothers Joachim Adrian and Johann Heinrich were also canons in Münster. The latter presented on December 29, 1651 Johann Plechelm for Dompräbende of the late Canon Johann Ernst of Nassau , as the Margrave Hermann had not asked to bathe to the establishment in the possession of the prebend. The taking of possession by Johann Plechelm was delayed by the objection of the Paderborn cathedral provost Heinrich von Sintzig. On March 26, 1652, Johann took possession of the Präbende at his own risk. After returning from studies, he was emancipated on June 3, 1656.
