Johann Rabe (politician)
Johann Rabe (born February 21, 1887 in Sudwalde , † December 17, 1937 in Diek near Bassum ) was a German farmer and politician ( CNBL ).
Life
Rabe was a farmer in Diek. He had been mayor of Groß Hollwedel and a member of the Diepholz district council since the 1920s . In 1928 he was spokesman for the Christian National Peasant and Rural People's Party in the Diepholz district. In 1932 he ran unsuccessfully for the Prussian state parliament . From 1931 to 1932 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Hanover . Heinrich Wohlers succeeded him in the state parliament . He was a deputy member of the Prussian State Council from July 21, 1931 to November 24, 1932 and a regular member from November 24, 1932 to April 1933 ( replacing Heinrich Heitmüller ). In 1933 he joined the NSDAP . He is buried in Bassum.
