Johann Testede († September 18, 1495 in Lübeck ) was a merchant and councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

The merchant Johann Testede was a member of the merchant company in Lübeck. He was elected to the Lübeck Council in 1489. In 1493 he belonged to the Lübeck embassy to the state parliament in Segeberg , which was convened by King John I of Denmark and to which the Lübeckers were also invited. In 1494 he negotiated again with Johann I in Reinfeld and in the same year he represented Lübeck at the Hanseatic Congress in Bremen . Testede became a member of the patrician circle society in 1495 . He lived in the house at Mengstrasse 20.
