Johann Tobias Dressel (born March 18, 1687 in Buchholz ; † November 24, 1758 ibid) was a Saxon organ builder .

Life

The son of the organ builder Tobias Dressel (1635–1717) learned how to build organs like him. He took over his father's workshop in the Erzgebirge mountain town of Buchholz. He made organs in Freiberg , Großolbersdorf , Hof (Saale) , Lengefeld , Oberwiesenthal , Schmiedeberg and in the Weesenstein castle chapel .
