Johann VI. von Fahrensbach († around 1627) was Rittmeister at the royal Polish court and Starost von Lemsal .

Life

Johann von Fahrensbach came from the German-Baltic Fahrensbach family . Like his father Jürgen von Fahrensbach , he led the life of a soldier and was loyal to the Polish party all his life. His career was closely linked to that of his brother Georg Wolmar von Fahrensbach . Together with him he fought against Count von Mansfeld when he wanted to strengthen the garrison in Dünamünde . He was from 1607 to 1615 during the occupation to Dorpat , was 1,619 Polish Colonel own body company, served in 1621 under Chodkiewicz on the Vltava River with two squadrons against the Turks and helped on September 2 position to win the victory of the Sultan Osman to brought his throne.
