Johann von der Wisch

Johann von der Wisch (* around 1455; † around 1527 in Uetersen ) was heir to Olpenitz , Canon of Schleswig and the priest of Uetersen.

Life

Johann von der Wisch came from the noble family von der Wisch , who were wealthy in the 15th century. His father was the knight Henneke von der Wisch († 1500 in the battle of Hemmingstedt ), gentleman on roast . Johann von der Wisch was a Holstein nobleman, hereditary lord / heir of Olpenitz and around 1521 Canon of Schleswig and later monastery provost in Uetersen. He carried out this office until his death, he died around 1527 in Uetersen. Henning Rantzau was his successor .
