Johanna Wolf (born June 1, 1900 in Munich ; † June 5, 1985 ibid) was one of Adolf Hitler's four secretaries from 1933 to 1945 alongside Gerda Christian , Traudl Junge and Christa Schroeder .

Life

Johanna Wolf worked as an office worker in Munich after completing elementary and vocational school education. Among other things, she worked for the member of the state parliament Alexander Glaser from 1922 to 1928 . Since Glaser could no longer employ her from May 1928 for financial reasons, she was initially unemployed and then moved to Gregor Strasser as a secretary for the Lower Bavaria - Upper Palatinate region . From November 1, 1929 - at the same time she had also joined the NSDAP - she worked for Rudolf Heß and from 1930 also for Wilhelm Brückner . After Hitler came to power , she went to Berlin, where she initially worked in the chancellery and later also in Hitler's personal adjutant office. During the war she was often used in the various Führer headquarters , but was often canceled due to illness.

On the night of April 21-22, 1945 - after Hitler had said goodbye - she left the Führerbunker in Berlin with Christa Schroeder and others , first traveled via Tempelhof to Salzburg and from there to the Obersalzberg , where she stayed until April 27th. April stayed. Since the Berghof was bombed by the Allies in the last days of the war, she went to see her mother in Bad Tölz . There she was tracked down by the CIC on May 23 , arrested and taken to the Augsburg camp, where she saw Christa Schroeder again.

After her release on January 14, 1948, she lived first in Kaufbeuren and later in Munich until her death.
