Johannes Albinus

Johannes Albinus , also Witte (* around 1540 in Parchim ; † March 17, 1602 in Rostock ) was a German legal scholar .

Life

Johannes Albinus, who came from Parchim, was enrolled at the University of Rostock on January 23, 1558 . In May 1559, Albinus was enrolled in Wittenberg . On September 27, 1569 doctorate in the University of him Doctor of Laws . He was ducal councilor and from 1573 worked as a court judge assessor . In May 1578 he received the professorship for pandects in Rostock . He was also rector of the university in 1583; his election took place on April 13th. He held the professorship until his death on March 17, 1602.
