Johannes Büchner

Johannes Büchner (born April 11, 1902 in Boppard ; † June 27, 1973 in Düsseldorf ) was a German educator and writer .

Life

After an aborted study of law at the Universities of Münster and Cologne Johannes Buchner graduated from a teacher training college training as a primary school teacher . From 1926 Büchner worked as a teacher in Düsseldorf , in 1934 he moved to Mönchen-Gladbach . In addition to his educational work, he was also a theater critic and employee of the Catholic weekly newspaper Junge Front (from 1935: Michael ) and wrote literary works. After the Second World War , Büchner was a teacher at an elementary school in the Mönchen-Gladbach district of Pesch.

His Scripture Answer the Eternal. A celebration scene for the Day of Heroes' Remembrance (Höfling, Munich 1937) was placed on the list of literature to be sorted out in the Soviet occupation zone .
