Johannes Eckert (city original)
Johannes Eckert (born February 2, 1888 in Bergen ; † February 12, 1959 in Frankfurt-Seckbach ) was a German original from Frankfurt . In its time it was known as the "Seckbacher Schaache". (Pronunciation: Schaa with nasal a, from French Jean , thus “Jeanchen”).
Appearance and work
Less than 1.50 m short, skinny and with a fistulous voice , he was usually in a good mood, but could also rant loudly, which also seemed funny. He was always on the go where something was celebrated, at all popular festivals such as B. the Karlinchenkerb , the Dippemess and the Wäldchestag , but was also invited to family celebrations and was always the focus when he was standing on the table reciting funny poems.
His equipment always included a " circular saw ", a bow tie , a walking stick and a large flower on his lapel. He is buried in the Bornheimer Friedhof on Dortelweiler Strasse.
