Johannes Finke

Johannes Finke (born November 17, 1974 in Marbach am Neckar ) is a German author , publisher and musician .

Life

Finke is the founder of the loudspeaker publisher , which existed from 1996 to 2007. In 1999 Finke's most successful book to date was published, the volume of poems Sex with Monika Kruse or Imagine it's pop and nobody goes there! . He wrote u. a. for media such as intro , Spex , Amica and Vanity Fair , the German intro for the project Battleship Potemkin the Pet Shop Boys and the play & Agents actors 1 with Shia LaBeouf and Stefan Konarske in the lead roles (2005). In 2008 he was editor-in-chief of the German Face magazine and from 2009 to 2012 co-publisher and editor-in-chief of Blank magazine.

His songs were released on the former label Pavlek Records , in 2004 the EP your wohnzimmer & my leben , in 2007 the album Nothing, nothing will never change . The single from this album, Where are you? , was filmed under Hagen Decker's direction, who also directed the 2012 video for To the End of the World . Finke releases under the name “The Camping Group”, together with the Stuttgart musician Daniel Vujanic, on the Belgian label Off Records.

In 2017 Finke wrote the screenplay for Antimarteria and directed the music video Tier for the Berlin band Violence.

Finke is the founder of the communication platform Down By Berlin and co-operator of the Bravo Bar , which opened in 2011 in Berlin's Torstrasse .

Together with Anna Müller, he has been running Herzstückverlag since April 2019.
